I’m frightened, really frightened
I mean. You know, when you’re
walking home at 4.00 in the
morning and the clouds suddenly
cover up the moon and the
shadows don’t just stay where
they are - they become part of
everything, and then, suddenly,
a CRASH breaks the still of
the night - you know where it
came from but you can’t see
anything there. That’s when the
long alley you’re hurrying up
seems endless. That’s when your
footsteps get drowned out by the
sound of your heart beating and
you start sweating with the
temperature below 0℃.
Well, that’s how I felt last
night when my mind parted
company with my body.
